Cream Horns for Father's Day

Buttery-flaky pastry sold in our favorite bakery. Shaped into a horn, one end larger than the other and stuffed with cream. Studded with large sugar crystals and powdered on the outside. This has truly been a family favorite of ours for as long as I can remember.
"I'll bring the Cream Horns"........just gets everyone excited.
Now that's what I'm talk'n about!! Yum:)

Thanks for visiting my blog. I noticed you use the same traditional red Longaberger dinnerware I use.

I haven't had cream horns since I left California ten years ago, but I love them! My last year of high school, I started working in a local bakery that made these fresh everyday, along with cream puffs and napoleons. Talk about a fun job, anything we ate at work was free and since I only weighed about 100 pounds in those days, I indulged my sweet tooth with abandon.
