Baked Garlic Shrimp

Recipe:

2 lbs colossal shrimp, peeled and deveined, leave tail on

1 stick butter

5 cloves fresh garlic, pressed

1/8 cup olive oil

1 lemon, juice of

fresh parsley, chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small saucepan melt butter on medium heat. Add the garlic and lightly saute. Squeeze in the juice of the lemon. Whisk in the olive oil.

Put shrimp in a foil pan, pour butter over and sprinkle with parsley. Put foil on top and put in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and serve. Ladle butter from pan into small dishes for dipping.

I'll be joining Michael Lee West over at "Designs by Gollum" for Foodie Friday. Hope you stop by for some good eats:)

I love shrimp! This is a wondeful way to prepare them, and I'd need lots of crustry bread to sop up the delicious sauce!

Garlic shrimp is one of my top three favorite dishes, this sounds wonderful. I also like the strawberry scone recipe in a previous post. I plan on making those while it is berry season! xo,

Yum! This recipe sounds delicious. I am a seafood lover...especially shrimp and scallops. Wonder if I could substitute the scallops or just add them to the dish?!!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today.

Blessings,
Valerie

This looks sensational! I have been craving shrimp, but it's an ingredient I tend to shy away from -- I have no idea why, it just seems to work out that way. I'm going to have to change my ways and give this a try as it looks soooo good!
